Choral Evensong
4pm, Every 1st Sunday, October - June
Come experience a new service at St. Paul’s, from the Daily Evening Prayer in the Book of Common Prayer. Evensong is a musical service sung by the Chapel College Choir*. Listen to a sample of this service on our audio library. (Requires Quicktime plugin).
Family Ministry
We have a wonderful new Sunday School program called Faith Quest and a team of adults ready to welcome children into our faith community. Our goals are to nurture children’s faith, build friendships, and provide them with experiences with our liturgical tradition, Bible stories, and mission to promote social justice and environmental stewardship in the world. We meet in Room 102 to the left of the lobby of St. Paul’s House (home of St. Paul’s School right next door to our church) from 10:00 until approximately 10:50 when we join the congregation for the Eucharist.
Child Care during Sunday Services
St. Paul's welcomes children to the service. We encourage families with children to sit "Up Front" so that they can see what it happening and participate at the level that is appropriate form them. There are activity bags at the rear of the church with paper, crayons, and a story book. If you or your child needs a break, you can go to the "bride's" (nursery) room at the rear of the church, which has a bathroom attached. Ask the family greeter or an usher to show you the way. Moving about is best done during singing or when the congregation is praying out loud.
* Chapel College is the name of the new choir created by Christopher Kula for our Evensong services, with men from our Artist-in Residence choir Pacific Collegium, and boys from Pacific Boychoir Academy. We hope to have pictures by next week.
