Training and Education Opportunities

Education for Ministries (EfM)

If you are interested in taking a spiritual journey using theological reflection and Biblical study, Education for Ministries may be for you! EfM is an educational program that encourages its participants to explore their beliefs and to develop their ministries in the body of Christ. Register for Escrip to support St. Paul's!

Electronic Scrip Incorporated (ESI) is a California-based corporation dedicated to providing resources to organizations and projects that support children and communities. St. Paul's has registered an account which anyone can use. Signing up is easy - just go to http://www.escrip.com/ and click "Sign up". You can register your store cards from Safeway, Macy's, Barnes and Noble and other popular retailers. Proceeds from each sale will go to benefit St. Paul's Church. You will need to know the number of your store card to register. St. Paul's eScrip Group ID is 151348991.

Green Sheet Announcements

Please send any Green Sheet announcements to greensheet at stpaulsoakland (.) org and include “green sheet” in the message line, or call the church office at 834-4314. Announcements should be under 100 words and should be submitted by Monday at 5 p.m. for the following Sunday.

Prayer Lists

If you have placed someone on the prayer list please let the Church Office know something about the person’s present situation. Include his / her name and your name in the message to the parish office. Send email to administrator@stpaulsoakland.org, or call the office.

Join the Sunday School Teacher Team

Visit or join our Family Ministry team! We have wonderful teachers, wonderful children, a great curriculum, and a terrific classroom for children 3 years old to 6th Grade! Please prayerfully consider how you can offer your time and talents to nurture not only the faith lives of our children, but also yours! For more details, please contact the office.
